Disaster Recovery & Cloud Backup
Encrypted, duplicated vaults that protect every business-critical digital asset you have: on-premise servers, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and whatever else matters to you.
For when everything else fails.
Your Critical Third Copy
Your I.T. supplier has admin access to everything you run, and your cloud provider holds your data. If either one is breached, so are you.
We hold an independent, offline copy of everything, out of reach of your supply chain and anyone who compromises it. When everything else fails, you still have a tested path back to a functioning organisation.
Microsoft’s own service agreement is clear: they recommend that you back up your data using a third-party service. Google’s position is similar. Their responsibility is uptime of the platform, not the safety of your files.
How It Works
1. Collection & scanning. Your data is transferred to our intermediate servers, scanned for malware, and encrypted before it goes anywhere near long-term storage.
2. Daily archive. Encrypted data is stored offline in two mirrored private data centres with no incoming internet connection. Neither your employees nor your I.T. supplier have direct access unless you choose otherwise.
3. Safe restore. Many backup providers will cheerfully send data straight back into your compromised network, letting an attacker repeat the breach. Our service ensures your data is held on a secure, isolated server, fully accessible to your team for as long as they need while your own environment is being cleaned and secured.
4. On-site support. If your internet is down or you need a large restore fast, one of our recovery team will drive to your site, get the data your team need back into their hands, and stay with you until you’re back on your feet.
What We Protect
Our disaster recovery service covers the full scope of your digital operations:
- On-premise servers, workstations and file shares
- Microsoft 365: SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange Online
- Google Workspace: Drive, Shared Drives, Gmail, Calendar
- Dropbox, iCloud, Amazon S3 and most other cloud storage
- Websites, databases and application data
- Cloud infrastructure, software-as-a-service and hosting configurations
- Recovery available 24/7, 365 days a year
Proper ransomware-proof recovery, even after the loss of your local and cloud services.
Microsoft 365 Backup
SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Exchange are all backed up independently from Microsoft’s own systems. If a ransomware attack encrypts your OneDrive, a rogue employee deletes a SharePoint site, or your I.T. support firm is compromised, your data is safe in our secure vaults.
We retain full version history, deleted items and folder structures. Restore an individual file, a shared folder, or an entire website.
Google Workspace Backup
Google Drive, Shared Drives, Gmail and Calendar are backed up daily to our private infrastructure. Google’s built-in recovery options are limited and time-bound; ours go well beyond them, keeping your data for as long as your agreement specifies.
When a shared drive is accidentally deleted or a departing employee wipes their account, we have the complete dataset ready to restore.
Why Managed Disaster Recovery
- Ransomware-proof: encrypted storage that attackers cannot reach
- Tested recovery: we verify restores regularly, not just when you need them
- Point-in-time restore: recover data from any backup snapshot
- Compliance ready: meets off-site backup requirements for Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and UK GDPR
- No single point of failure: two separate locations, two copies, three if you’d rather
- On-site response: physical delivery and support when remote restore isn’t enough
